The next iteration in the hugely popular Uncharted series has been revealed. The title will be Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and the story will center around Drake and Sully trying to find a lost city on the Arabian peninsula.
Entertainment Weekly got a first look at Sony’s Naughty Dog-developed adventure Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, which is reportedly due on shelves in the Fall of 2011.
The game is set in the Arabian Peninsula with Drake searching for a legendary lost city, with hints that the storyline will revolve around deceptions both instigated by and against Drake – even raising questions about his identity.
New features will include a refined combat system, co-op mode and expanded versions of Uncharted 2’s online multiplayer – the latter of which will be key to the game’s appeal.
The first full trailer is scheduled to air during the Spike Video Game Awards on Saturday 11th December. Oh, and there’s one more thing – UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception fully supports high-resolution Stereoscopic 3D!
