Saber Interactive’s Matthew Karch gives Gametrailers the rundown on what to expect from Inversion, a third-person shooter with co-operative gameplay.

Saber Interactive, most known for TimeShift, announced INVERSION, a new shooter that features “a revolutionary gravity manipulation engine.” Currently in development for the PS3 and Xbox 360, INVERSION promises gravity bending co-op action. According to publisher Namco Bandai, gamers can expect the physics filled fun to arrive in 2011.

Players will be armed with a gravity-manipulating weapon dubbed the Grappler, which has players “maneuvering massive objects as shields or projectiles, and moving camped enemies out of concealed cover.” Namco Bandai also stated that INVERSION will support Havok Destruction tech, which allows for “massively destructible environments including an elaborate cover system.”
