Rayman Origins E3 2011 Trailer

Rayman Origins is an upcoming platforming video game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft for Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It was announced by Ubisoft at E3 2010, and is the first major Rayman game since the creation of the Raving Rabbids series. It also marks the return of Rayman creator Michel Ancel to the series; he had not worked on a Rayman title since Rayman 2 in 1999.

The game is the first title to use UbiArt Framework. These development tools allow artists to easily create content and then use it in an interactive environment. The artists only have to pose the model and edit the silhouette – UbiArt software takes care of image distortion automatically. The main aim of this engine is to allow artists and designers focus on the art itself, without having to worry about technical aspects of game development.
