Killzone 3, Crytek 2 and Bulletstorm leaked

Three AAA titles have been leaked to the general public this week, it started with Crysis 2 being leaked 49 days before release, and then Killzone 3 two weeks before release. The games are available on major torrent sites and so far it has been confirmed that only the XBOX 360 version has been leaked and not much can be said if the PC version or the PS3 versions of the game are available or not.

While they’re not handing out subpoenas to PS3 hackers, Sony is likely to be monitoring online user activity, so – aside from all the other obvious reasons – downloading and playing Killzone 3 is probably not a very good idea. Of course, the pirated version only runs on cracked PlayStation 3 consoles which, thanks to George Hotz, are now more prevalent than ever.

Crytek has issued a public statement on the matter, saying that, “Crytek has been alerted that an early incomplete, unfinished build of Crysis 2 has appeared on Torrent sites. Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting and purchasing the final, polished game on March 22. Crysis 2 is still in development and promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the series’ signature Nanosuit lets you be the weapon as you defend NYC from an alien invasion. Piracy continues to damage the PC packaged goods market and the PC development community.”

Bulletstorm was only 3 days away from an official release date and already the game has been leaked, considering that this is the second AAA title to be leaked from EA, could there be a bad employee in the company causing all this?
